9629 Silicone Release Paper 1240mm x 25m roll by SeaLion
In any dry mounting task, it often happens that there is exposed adhesive around an item being mounted. Laying Silicone Release Paper or Film face down over it will prevent any surplus adhesive sticking to the heated plate. Once there, adhesive can be tedious to remove.
This 100gsm single-sided silicone release paper has an unusually high spec and is very durable. It is up-cycled from the highest quality material used in the manufacturing process of carbon fibre fabrics which form a big part of the build of many current aeroplanes. The once-used SRP can be difficult to dispose of. To resolve the issue a UK manufacturer developed a unique process which makes the once used SRP as good as new, and at a good price.
- Primarily used in production of mounted and laminated images using a heated press but has other applications.
- Store cut pieces carefully to avoid creasing and dust.

Questions
Q: Hi Lion Pic What exactly is Sealion Silicon Release Paper? Could it be used for backing frames or storage of art Is it like a film for covering cardboard or what Thanks Paula
A: The Silicone release paper is used in production of laminating image using a vacuum press mainly. Not really suitable to use for storage or backing the frames really as it is activated with heat process in the vacuum press.
