3419 Logan 650-1 Framer’s Edge Elite Mountcutter 1010mm cut

Designed and engineered for serious framers, the Logan Framers Edge 650 range of mountcutters is for cutting more complex or higher volumes of mounts

The cutting head glides smoothly on ball bearings along the specially profiled guide rail. On one side is the bevel cutting head, on the other is the vertical cut head. Both are pull style.

The whole guide rail and head assembly is hinged onto an 18mm MDF baseboard.

The sliding production stop system is crucial for saving time and overall accuracy. Two quick change squaring arms are included, 230mm / 9″, scaled, and 810mm / 32”, un-scaled, to help position and square the mountboard.

The bevel cutting head blade depth can be adjusted for boards from 1.2mm to 3.0mm (4 ply to 8 ply). Sliding start and stop indicators and adjustable production stops make the Framers Edge very efficient and easy to use. The parallel back mat guide is easy to adjust.

The bevel and vertical cuts use Logan #268D and #268SE blades. These are thicker than the #270 blades, at 0.015”. The #286SE blade is designed for 3.0mm  thick and harder boards.

The Logan Framers Edge mountcutter is for the serious framer as it speeds up the whole work process. It is ideal for education and training environments with multiple users.
