Cleat Strips, also often known as Z Bar Hangers, are a quick and easy way to hang frames and mirrors safely and level. Strips are fixed to the wall, pointing up, and to the back of the frame, pointing down. The strip on the frame simply hooks over the strip on the wall.

On aluminium frames, only one strip is needed, on the wall. The lip of the strip/s engages directly into the channel of the frame.

A big advantage is that the strips spread the weight of the frame over several screws in the wall and in the frame. They work with most kinds of wood, PS and aluminium frames. Short strips can be used to hang hi-fi speakers and similar on walls.

Fix them end-to-end for longer installations. Typical safe load is 3kg per screw. Made in USA by AMS.

When installed, the pair has a total height of about 42mm and the frame sits just 4.5mm away from the wall.

- On aluminium, wood and PS frames – fit a T-screw
- On wood and PS frames only - fit a SpringLOCK
