1064 Logan 4000 Deluxe Pull style hand Bevel Mountcutter

1064 Logan 4000 Deluxe Pull style hand Bevel Mountcutter
The Logan 4000 Deluxe Pull Style hand-held bevel mountcutter is an advanced cutter with features developed and refined by Logan since 1974. The 4000 has a unique marker bar system for faster marking of borders and cutting lines.
The pivot-and-pull handle lowers the blade through the slot in the base and into the mountboard. The blade slot prevents blade flexing, giving straighter cuts. The start-and-stop indicator helps to eliminate over cuts and the ergonomic handle makes for comfortable operation.
• Heavy-duty pull-style cutter with pivoting blade holder
• Marker measuring bar for improved efficiency
• Start and stop indicators to help prevent overcuts
The measuring bar has a pencil lead for marking borders up to 125mm / 5”.
Made in USA.
Upgrades:
The #4000 slides alongside a guide rail and can become a #702, which hooks onto a guide rail, by fitting the plastic guides, Lion ref 6131.
The same guides can be fitted to the #2000, which then becomes a #302. The #702 and #302 cutters are only included in kits and are not available separately.
With the guides fitted, the #2000 and #4000 bevel cutters will hook also onto Keencut Safety Edges.

Are you new to cutting mounts?
LION stock an extensive range of mount cutters, from Logan hand bevel cutters through Logan baseboard cutters up to the professional Keencut and Fletcher cutters. Every one of these needs self-training, patience and experience to achieve optimum quality results. This means several hours practice to gain some proficiency. Essentially, the higher the price the greater the level of quality, engineering and efficiency in use.
For example, all Logan baseboard machines have a fibre board base which is very good for their purpose but the aluminium bases of the professional cutters are more dimensionally stable. Customer assembly is required on all makes of mountcutter. They can only be returned for credit if it is clearly established that there is a manufacturing fault. We recommend that you download and read the free 88pp ‘Home Picture Framing’ book, offered with all Logan products.
