380 Tacking Iron to aid dry mounting

Electrically heated iron, for tacking dry mount tissue into place during the dry mounting process

The man cost is in the specially shaped wide smooth shoe. This is crafted by hand in the UK from steel in small batches. The face is carefully hand ground to shape and highly polished, then it is chromium plated. 

The shoe is then fitted to a high-quality soldering iron.
